DURABLE
The HAN1819 is the very start of our product line. It is so important that I get this right, so i’ve kept durability and longevity as my main concern in design. The durability comes from the thickness of the injection moulding, and the longevity comes from its ability to be rebuilt if it ever starts to fray or break down.
SIMPLE
This dust pan is so simple. Its meant to be there when you need it and hide away when you don’t. The bristles are tucked away into the pan so that you can put this unit into a drawer instead of having to tuck it away into a closet. It is small enough to be available anytime, and to be stored just about anywhere.
VERSATILE
I want this dust pan to be something that you can keep in your woodshop or metal shop drawer; i want this to be something that you can keep in your kitchen drawer or desk top or the glovebox of your car. Its meant to be used just about everywhere, and its meant to be relied on.
REBUILDABLE
My favorite part of this design is that the part that has the highest chance of breaking down is the part that’s replacable. The bristles can be changed out with fiber or natural bristles, and they can be replaced when they break down over time.

THE HANNAH MANUFACTURING MOBILE ASSEMBLY MODEL
My goal in this project is two fold. First, I want to deliver a great final product. I want to purchase the moulds and materials necessary for making this dust pan, and make decisions of quality along the way. Next, I want to build out the catalyst of a mobile manufacturing model to assemble and package these dust pans. What you will receive is the 1819 dust pan that is Made in the USA by one of the first Hannah Manufacturing product assemblers. The way that this is made is just as important to me as the quality by which it is made.

Any chance of getting a rubber squeegee built into handle?
